So after two weeks in San'D, just wandering around doing quests and enjoying the simple life...I gave in to going back to the Dunes. I was tired of being a simple lvl 12 Mithra that could easily die. So I headed out on Saturday and death-warped to Selbina. Yes, I hadn't changed my HP in two weeks. Maior says I have massively huge eggs to do that. *shrug* I like to live dangerously.

So during the day the Dunes can be pretty stupid. Following around idiot leaders who really don't know what they're doing. Basically they have a hard time getting people who work together, deciding where to camp, and especially what to camp. I give them credit, there's no way in hell I'd lead a party...but come on.

After 1am on both nights I found absolutely perfect parties though! The Dunes is practically empty except for J's who refuse to party outside of their 'language'. Maybe it's because they don't know English...who knows. Anyway, it's perfect fighting grounds from 1am - 3am PST.

What's more amazing than all of this? My leader asked me to pull...but I was worried cause Maior kept telling me I wasn't ready yet. I decided to try anyway and did an awesome job. I was pulling like a mo-fo. We were getting chains from 1 to 3 over and over again. Then I moved up to lvl 15. Can you say "MITHRA KICK MAJOR ASS AT 15"? I was ripping on these lizzies and cut our fight times by at least half. Even the BLM was suprised, exclaiming that I was dealing more damage than he could with his best spells.

I have decided tonight that Mithra Thief was the best choice I ever made...it just took time and commitment to acquire. Also, and you can all quote me on this, Parties can be fun and the Dunes is a really great place (under certain circumstances).

Yes, I've learned my lesson and I'll stop whining now. :) So, I'm almost to 18. What's next?
