Thersites finally beat the old man on his third try! I thought I should share my strategy incase anyone else needs to fight him as a Ranger. I went in as a level 70 Galka Ranger with marksman skills capped. I didn't believe the old wives tale about going in without gear on, so I went in fully equiped.
